After such a strict upbringing it's not surprising that Kaila has turned into a wild party animal and there are always plenty of parties for her to attend. If there isn't a glamour scene party on then the chances are there's a music party she just has to be seen at. And what are the favorite foods for such a mad party girl? Crème brulee features high on her list as does raw oysters and dim sums. She enjoys cooking even though she is definitely not a home-body. Her favorite artists include Eminem and Maria Carey and her favorite television show is Sex and the City. She's yet to find anyone who can handle her so there's no sign of her settling down with just one guy any time soon.

Kaila Yu may have a wild personality but it doesn't always show through when she's in front of the camera. Kaila Yu was born in Taipei on the island of Taiwan but moved with her parents to California when she was just three years old. She grew up in a very strict family environment and found school difficult because of the restrictions placed on her by her parents. After school she went on to college to study biology and suddenly found that she had freedom. A move to UCLA also gave her the chance to break into modeling which she did. Her first modeling assignments were at car shows and that lead to appearances in Playboy and FHM. Today most of Kaila's time is taken up with her website and with a new career as a singer that she launched in 2003 with the release of her first album.
